Ethics
We earn the trust and respect of our stakeholders through honesty, fairness, openness and behaving ethically. Acting with integrity and respect and within the spirit and letter of our ethics policies in everything that we do is central to BBA Aviation’s values and to achieving our mission to grow exceptional, long-term sustainable value for all our stakeholders.
BBA Aviation’s commitment to the highest level of ethical conduct is strongly endorsed by its Board of Directors and is to be reflected in the business activities of all BBA Aviation companies and employees including, but not limited to, relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, competitors, the government and the public, including our shareholders.
Our employees are expected to comply with not only the letter but also the spirit of our ethical and fair dealing policies, in addition to complying with the law and acting in accordance with our core values.
The BBA Aviation Group has clear standards and policies in the area of business ethics, dealing amongst other things with compliance with laws, fair competition, bribery and corruption, appropriate gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest and the use of foreign agents.
These policies are re-stated on a regular basis through both in person and e-learning training courses. Compliance with group policies is closely monitored through a twice yearly audit of senior management.
An unethical conduct telephone line is also operated through which employees may report concerns relating to conduct that they have witnessed in the work place on an anonymous basis and without fear of recrimination.
