1900 - 1980
The company moved to Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, England in 1901 and changed its name to Scandinavia Belting in 1911 and to B.B. & A. Ltd in 1925.

The business began to move its London operations north to Cleckheaton in 1938. The coming of war hastened the move in 1939. The firm began the BBA Group Ltd in 1967 with a focus on automotive products, particularly friction materials for brakes, and industrial manufacturing.

Two new wholly-owned subsidiaries — Mintex Ltd. and Scandura Ltd. — were created to carry out the manufacturing and selling activities of the former company. By 1980 BBA Group had plants in a number of countries.
