Dan Burridge is an Apprentice Machine Shop Technician at H+S Aviation. Dan joined H+S in August 2009 and has recently completed an NVQ2 in Performing Engineering Operations. His training will now continue with an NVQ3 in Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (Machining) and a 2 year college course which will give him a BTec National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering, completing his apprenticeship in 2012.
Over the last 4 years H+S Aviation has committed to recruiting and training its own apprentices and, in that time has had five apprentices complete their apprenticeships and become a valuable part of the H+S team. In 2009 H+S recruited 3 new apprentices; two as Aero Engine Technicians and one as a Machine Shop Technician.
