Guadalupe Venegas, a Conveyor Technician, works for ASIG at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where ASIG provides technical and mechanical services for the airport’s facilities and infrastructure. He provides preventative maintenance, repairs and handles emergency breakdowns on the baggage handling conveyor system at LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. Lupe has worked on the system since it was first installed in early 2009. Over 3 miles of conveyors and belts comprise the system which handles over 4 million passenger bags a year. Lupe joined ASIG in 2008 and is a certified electrician.
