APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
BBA Group plc, the international aviation services and materials technology group, announces the appointment of Robert Phillips as a Non-Executive Director.
Robert Phillips, 61, will take up his position on the Board of BBA Group Plc with effect from 5 May 2000. Bob was a Board Director of Unilever plc and Chairman of Unilever North American Committee from which positions he retired on 3 May 2000.
Commenting on the appointment, Vanni Treves, Chairman of BBA said:
"I am delighted to welcome Bob Phillips to the Board of BBA. He is a hugely experienced senior executive in international consumer brands. His wide ranging expertise will add tremendous value to the BBA Board and assist in the achievement of our strategic goals."
