BBA GROUP PLC Appointment of CEO Nonwovens Division
BBA Group PLC today announce the appointment of Ross McMillan as Chief Executive of the Nonwovens Division, with effect from 1st June 2001. He will initially report to George Cartwright, who intends to retire during 2002, allowing for a transition period. At the end of the year he will report to Roy McGlone, CEO of BBA Group PLC.
Ross worked for Dupont in their nonwovens business as his first job. In 1976 he joined ICI Plc where he held a number of commercial and senior management roles, becoming President and CEO of ICI Acrylics Inc. in 1996. In 1999 ICI Acrylics was sold to the INEOS Group, a private speciality chemicals company. Ross held the position of President at INEOS Acrylics Inc. and was a board member of INEOS Acrylics.
Roy McGlone, CEO of BBA Group Plc, commented:
