BBA NONWOVENS ANNOUNCES $36M INVESTMENT IN NEW SPUNLACE LINE IN U.S.
Nashville, Tennessee BBA Nonwovens has won a multi-year contract commencing in 2003 in the specialty wipes area with a major global customer. To support this contract, BBA is investing $36M for a new state-of-the-art spunlace line to be built at its facility in Bethune, South Carolina.
With new lines currently under construction in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific, BBA continues to show its commitment to invest and grow in those nonwovens technologies that will support our customers' needs in the future.
BBA Nonwovens is the second largest nonwovens supplier in the world, with 29 manufacturing sites and sales offices in 16 countries around the globe.
