Peter Hickman To Join The Board Of Fiberweb
Richard Stillwell To Transfer To Board Of Fiberweb From BBA Board


BBA Group plc is pleased to announce the intended appointment of Peter Hickman (43) to the Board of Fiberweb as a non-executive director and Chairman of its Audit Committee with effect from the date of its proposed demerger from BBA.

Peter Hickman is currently the Director, Group Finance for HBOS plc, where he is responsible for the group’s financial reporting, strategic planning and tax affairs. Prior to joining HBOS, Peter was a partner at Ernst & Young for 8 years responsible for the audit of several of the firm’s major clients. He provided technical advice on complex accounting matters and had oversight responsibilities for risk management. Peter studied Engineering at Cambridge University before training to become a chartered accountant.

BBA also announces that Richard Stillwell, currently a non-executive director of BBA, has agreed to join the Fiberweb Board as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Fiberweb Remuneration Committee with effect from the date of its proposed demerger. It is intended that Richard will resign from the BBA Board in due course.

Richard Stillwell was appointed to the BBA Board in March 1998. He is a practising barrister, a non-executive director of Penna Consulting plc and with effect from 1 September 2006 will be a non-executive director of St Ives plc. Until August 2000, Richard was Executive Vice-President Industrial Specialties at Imperial Chemical Industries plc, where he had held various posts since 1974.
